Special Properties
Special Properties
Of all the creatures we've encountered, the Bigfoot may well be the filthiest. So creating a soap that will clean even him was quite a challenge. What's the secret? The leaves of a cedar tree, when ground and baked into a bar of soap, create a strong exfoliator that will scrub down the mangiest fur of the wildest beast.
Bigfoot's (the soap, not the guy) coloration comes from activated charcoal powder - an excellent cleansing agent and detoxifier - and cocoa powder which is naturally high in antioxidants.
And let's not to downplay the importance of a good soap base, made from pure coconut oil. That's a soap that'll work up a mad lather, get you cleaner than clean, and isn't harsh on the skin. Plus, it's scented with four kinds of cedar (Texas cedar, atlas cedar, western red cedar, and blood cedar), making your shower experience sort of like a walk in a northwestern forest. Except instead of cedar trees and ferns, there's, you know...your bathroom.

A Word on Exfoliating Soaps
At MONSTER Flesh & Mane, we use four grades of exfoliation in our soaps.
None
These soaps do not have any exfoliation ingredients and thus require no special instructions.
Light
With the finest grit, the exfoliating ingredients in these soaps will gently scrub away dead skin from the topmost layer. Less effective, but great for daily use. Use as normal.
Moderate
These soaps have slightly coarser grit, or harder bits that will exfoliate a bit harder. If you just scrub away with these, you may cause some irritation and scratching of your skin. Slow it down a bit.
Heavy
The exfoliating ingredients in these soaps are coarse or especially hard, and will seriously abrade away dead skin. Use slow, deliberate circles when scrubbing with these soaps. Not for every day use; use only as needed.
